2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum Napa Valley

Our 2022  Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon this year.  Although we tried a million blends with varying amounts of Cabernet Franc, we loved how the Cabernet Sauvignon from different vineyards in 2022 made the best possible wine.   And for the first time for Zeitgeist, the 2022 Napa Valley bottling has a bit of Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon in it.......you guessed it; a Howell Mountain Vineyard Designate in the works?!?!?  More on that later this year.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2022 growing season was warm and it made for delicious, approachable wines. An outgoing and perfumey nose of raspberry, cedar and dark plum leads to a dense, rich and smooth palate.  Flavors are a cornucopia of red and black fruit with subtle hints of exotic spice.  A lush middle and round tannins make for pure pleasure. You can enjoy this vintage anytime.  Already reminding us of the 2007 and 2012 vintages.
